GoodTree Suhbah Academy paves the way for our grade 8-9 learners to embark on a journey of transformative knowledge which shapes their minds and hearts to receive an in-depth exploration of the Islamic Sciences whilst maintaining core academics.
Overview
The learner is now ready to process abstract concepts and thus the program prioritises the exploration of a comprehensive Islamic Sciences program. The program aims to address contemporary challenges whilst focusing on the holistic development of the learner. Core academic skills in Mathematics, Language and Science are maintained to ensure FET phase competence according to the CAPS curriculum.
Building Quranic Character
The Islamic Sciences program incorporates a robust study of the Arabic language through exploring Arabic grammar , Morphology and various Arabic texts to develop proficiency in the language. Additionally, the Islamic sciences are taught with the aim of grounding the learner to navigate daily life and to facilitate the application from text to context. Dedicated lessons on Quran study of selected chapters reinforce character development.
