Suhbah Ukhuwwa Camp
The purpose of the Ukhuwwah camp was twofold; one time bound and the other timeless.
As for the timeless, then it was to establish the bonds of brotherhood amongst students themselves, and between teachers and students. This bond is a sacred one which Allah commands all believers to foster saying: “The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers.”
As for the time bound, then it is the response to the need of our time, and that is crafting honourable Muslim men. This can only be done through keeping the company of the upright men of society, embodied in their teachers and other men of such nature.
