Heritage Day Visit
A cultural immersion for our GoodTree students as they visited the Awwal Masjid, Tanu Baru Cemetery & The Castle.
The students immersed themselves into the rich tapestry of Islam within Cape Town, discovering it’s origins, learning about the first mosque, the oldest cemetery and the history of an enslaved nation.
It was an opportunity to highlight the significance in the spreading of Islam in Cape Town.
